MetaPop and Native Instruments have teamed up with Dancing Astronaut to present the official remix competition for Richie Krisak’s “The Beginning” featuring Swedish singer Emelie Cyréus.

The emerging New York-based artist is making waves in the East Coast underground EDM scene. Now here’s your chance to show him what you can do and get discovered in the process.

“The inspiration behind the original track was to take a risk and explore uncharted musical territory,” he said. “I also tried to experiment with drum patterns that aren’t considered ‘natural’ to dance music. Along the way, I was most inspired by leading artists like Axwell ^ Ingrosso, Grey, Illenium and Zedd.”
