culpriit is the electronic duo of The Mowgli’s front man Colin Dieden, and producer Rob Ellmore, whose production credits include Zedd, Selena Gomez, and Fifth Harmony amongst many others. Their collaboration formed after the two met working on another artists session at Red Bull Studios, and their combined experiences of Colin's journey as a frontman and Rob's experimental production resulted in a sound that leaned electronic and featured stylistic vocals, but didn’t compromise telling a story. This caught the keen eye of Spinnin’ Records, who signed the duo to their new imprint CONGO Records, and has released a handful of singles, each developing the perfect balance the duo’s two sonic worlds.
Now, culpriit is giving you the chance to remix their newest single “Whole Day Off”, a hypnotic pop track digging deep into their subtle production style. Take the whole day (or a few) to show what you’ve got with these stems for the chance to win an official release through Spinnin’ Records/CONGO Records, a Spinnin’ Records prize pack, and $500.
“Whole Day Off” is 141 bpm and in the key of Db major.
If you post your track on Soundcloud or Youtube make sure to tag it with #culpriit #remix & #Splice.
