For this week’s Firestarter we’ve partnered with Lewis Lane to give you the chance to work with a world class singer. Take the bridge from Lewis Lane’s song “Feel Something” and rework it into something wholly your own, then share it the us and the Splice Community. We'll choose 3 of our favorites and shout them out here and on Splice's social media.

Lewis Lane is a Brooklyn based a songstress who's sultry soul-pop is anchored by her commanding voice. Lewis crafts genre-bending songs that bridge the gap between soul, motown, and pop, lacing old school grooves with layered melodic hooks, grounded in contemporary production. Her debut EP Take premiered buzzworthy singles, finding their way to New Music Friday's and a #3 spot on Hypemachine. Lewis Lane’s vocals are heavily sampled and were use as the hook of Mura Masa's "Love$ick" featuring A$AP Rocky.
