Welcome to the official remix competition for Joman’s electro house track, “Outta the Dark.”
The Denver-based artist, aka Joseph Mancuso, is making waves in the underground US electronic scene. Now here’s your chance to show him what you can do and get discovered in the process.
“Originally, I wanted to make a club-friendly cut with deep, personal lyrics about being in a rut and yearning for someone to pull me out. The verses have an element of futility in them for a reason; nothing in life is guaranteed, including the things we want out of it — but if you have someone willing to go on that journey with you it can make all the difference.”
“Remix-wise, I'm looking for ‘playability’ but I'm not strict about genre. When artists put all of themselves into a remix, you can hear it when you listen to it. That will be the ultimate determining factor for me; the level of inspiration behind the remix. So be original, do what you do best and have fun!”
