No Help Pamphlet Official Remix Competition

Welcome to the official remix competition for Liars’ acoustic single “No Help Pamphlet”, taken from their 2017 album, TFCF (Theme From Crying Fountain).

On his eighth LP, the Australian artist, aka Angus Andrew, explores autobiographical themes of loneliness and heartbreak in self-imposed isolation. Now here’s your chance to remix him and flex your studio skills.

“Acoustic guitar has always been this weird icon for the type of musician i could never aspire to be,” he said. “It represents the practical skills i lack as an artist. Using sampling and manipulation I was able to sidestep my acoustic guitar hang ups. It sent me off on a vastly different trajectory toward something I’d never created before which is always my goal.”

“Ultimately, I’m looking for true originality with a dash of respect for the original. So surprise me.”
