We believe that keeping the internet open and free is critical for musicians of every level. The Net is where we collaborate, earn our living, and connect with our fans. Due to recent actions by the FCC the United States will soon lose the rules that protect the internet from filtering by service providers for extra profit. The Senate recently voted to protect Net Neutrality, and now the House of Representatives needs to do the same. Contact your Representative and let them know you support Net Neutrality.

To raise awareness for this important issue and celebrate what’s possible with a free and open internet we have partnered with Youtube superstars The Gregory Brothers (of Schmoyoho & Songify the News fame) to bring you a remix contest powered by the voices speaking up in defense of Net Neutrality. The Gregory Brothers have made catchy toplines out of speeches from the most outspoken leaders fighting to maintain Net Neutrality.

The Gregory Brothers have provided the essentials for this track - now it’s up to you. Make a track featuring any or all of these voices that shows what we can do when we come together as a community, then share it with your networks to raise awareness about this important topic. The Gregory Brothers will choose their favorite remix at the end of the contest to be featured in one of their popular videos, and Splice will pay the winner’s internet bill for a year*.
